This came about when I noticed some clients were losing motivation and were no longer giving it their 100%. So to help them get back to giving their all, I tried to give them words that they could connect to emotionally and that would spark them to think about why they made the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourbodyatworkpt.com\">commitment to fitness.<\/a><a href=\"#_msocom_1\">[u1]<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my experience, once you truly understand the emotional reason behind your decision, it helps you stay focused and present. Staying focused on the little things that will ultimately lead to you being successful. When I talk about the little things, I am talking about small changes to your everyday life that will lead to habits towards fitness and building a routine that supports your goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building these habits won\u2019t happen overnight and recognizing that is important.&nbsp; So, just like I do with my clients, I am going to throw out a word of the month for you.&nbsp; The word of the day is \u201cPatience\u201d! Patience by definition is \u201cthe ability to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset\u201d. At some point in our lives, we all have been told to be patient. This is even more true when it comes to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourbodyatworkpt.com\">physical fitness<\/a>. It takes time to achieve your goals.&nbsp; Getting angry or upset with yourself or giving less than 100% isn\u2019t the answer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truth is that you will make mistakes, you will lose focus and you will have a \u201cbad weekend\u201d along the way. It\u2019s okay not to be perfect, so don\u2019t beat yourself up about it! Be patient with yourself and with the time it takes to truly achieve your goals. I want you to remember to always connect to the emotional reason behind your decision to get fit. In addition to being patient with yourself, have compassion towards yourself!
